Adoption procedure for the puppy that you would like to add to your family and love for their lifetime.
1. Read and understand the Purchase Agreement. This can be read and downloaded at the bottom of this page.
2. Most of the time there is a waiting list and a $200 non-refundable deposit is required to get on it. I offer each puppy to those on the waiting list before I offer it to anyone not yet on the list. Most puppies are $1,200 and dappled and piebalds are $1,500. Includes full CKC registration with breeding rights.
3. Once the puppies are born (they each will be assigned temporary names). In the first 2 weeks, I will be in contact with everyone asking for their picks. You have 48 hours to respond and after that, I will have to go on to the next person on the list. Deposits should only be made via- Venmo or PayPal for the remaining balance. All deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit is made the website will be updated showing your place in line. Please include the best contact method to get a hold of you (home phone, email, txt, etc).
4. At the time of pickup, the purchase agreement will need to be signed and any remaining balance will be due (cash only). Please attempt to make arrangements within 48 hours of the pickup day to receive your new puppy.
*Please Note. This is our home, not a store. I do NOT allow random visits. This is for the protection of our family, our dogs, and our puppies. I do not remove dewclaws nor do I ship/deliver. The puppies must be picked up at our residence within 48 hours of the puppy pick-up date or I will move down the waiting list and your deposit will be forfeited. If agreed upon, I can hold onto a puppy for up to 1 week but I will charge $30 a day.

"Dashing Dachshunds" guarantees against hereditary or congenital defects that could result in death or inability to function as a pet for one year from date of birth. The buyer is responsible to have the puppy examined within seven days of receipt of the puppy from a licensed vet. The buyer must also notify "Dashing Dachshunds" within 48 hours of the exam of any identified health issues. Buyer is responsible for all routine preventative care, safety, The buyer, and well-being of the puppy. "Dashing Dachshunds" is not responsible for medical expenses incurred at any time. Puppy ownership requires appropriate care, housing, premium food, and periodic visits to a licensed vet.
The guarantee is as follows: The purchased puppy must show a congenital defect within its first year of life. "Dashing Dachshunds" must be notified within two days of receipt of the result from a licensed vet along with applicable lab and/or x-rays. “Dashing Dachshunds" must receive a written diagnosis from a certified vet within 5 days of the diagnosis of a congenital defect. Buyer will return the puppy to "Dashing Dachshunds" at their own expense, puppy will be replaced with one of equal or greater value when one becomes available. The buyer is responsible for any expenses incurred during this replacement process. Any medical issues that are the result of accident, injury, or neglect are not covered in this guarantee.
The intent of this contract is to make certain that you have a healthy, wonderful new family member for years to come. We appreciate your faith and trust in letting us be part of this amazing process of sharing our babies with you.
